A new non-stop link between Budapest and London Southend
easyJet has scheduled a new direct connection between Budapest (BUD) and London Southend (SEN) from 26 October 2026. London Southend Airport announced the service on 24 April and its current destination page, alongside easyJet's booking route, confirms the link. The published winter pattern is twice weekly, on Mondays and Fridays.
Published flight times
According to the airport's 2026/27 winter timetable, Monday departures are Southend 07:05, arriving Budapest 10:20; the return leaves Budapest 10:55 and arrives Southend 12:30. On Fridays, the flight leaves Southend at 17:35 and reaches Budapest at 20:50; the return departs Budapest at 21:35 and arrives Southend at 23:00. All times are local to each airport and remain subject to change.
Which London airport is Southend?
London Southend (SEN) is in Essex, east of central London. It is a different airport from Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton. Southend has its own railway station; the airport advertises journeys of approximately 43 minutes from Stratford and 52 minutes from London Liverpool Street. Check actual rail services for your travel date, particularly after a late Friday arrival.
Before booking
The Monday and Friday pattern can suit a short city break or business trip. Check the exact flight, total fare and baggage allowance with easyJet. Travellers to the UK should verify passport and any applicable electronic travel authorisation requirements through official UK government guidance. A published timetable is not proof that every individual flight operated.
